Ok, I know that most of you are tired of me making threads about my new little girl, but I feel like I'm a first time parent again! So, unless something drastic happens, I will not create another thread for awhile.
I just wanted to let everyone know that I have changed my baby girl's name. We originally wanted to name her Hootie and we planned on naming her that up until Sunday when we brought her home. That day she was just so calm and docile, so we decided that Hootie did not fit her personality and we decided to name her Reese or Reesie Bear. Then, yesterday, she really perked up and her true personality came out! She was running, and playing, and really instigating playtime with Hobbs. She barks at him (well, it's not really a bark, more like a purr
), paws at his face, bites his beard...it is just so funny. They were playing on the couch and she lunged at him and he fell off the couch!! From that moment on, we knew that she was just going to be a fiesty little tart, not the laid back Reese that we had originally thought. So, we are back to the name Hootie.
I want a thank a fellow YTer for helping us come up with that name, too. Oscar's Mom, THANK YOU! She truly is a little HOOTIE!
