My advice to anyone taking their baby to a groomer is: TAKE A PICTURE WITH YOU!!!
This leaves no room for interpretation by your groomer. If you show them exactly what you want your dog to look like, it takes the guessing game out and gives you a leg to stand on if you don't get what you want. The last time I did this, Nikko came back looking exactly as I wanted him to look and I was very happy. Sometimes we don't realize that we aren't clear with our instructions. Taking a dog in and telling the groomer you want him cut "short" is dangerous because that can mean so many things. We are lucky that there are so many cutie pies on YT and so many wonderful members that are more than willing to share images of their babies in various haircuts. Take the time to search for a picture that captures the exact look you want for your pup and take it with you. It will save you and your furball from months of bad hair days!!
