How old is she? If she is getting white/silver hair on her back she is changing colors and she does lose the puppy hair. Yorkies start changing colors from about 3 months on. Some will change completely by the time they are a year to 18 months, others change later. I have a male that did not change until he was 2. Normally they will break on the head first, the hair on their head starts turning white at the roots first and will eventually turn either gold or tan, then the back hair will change. |
