I first trained my pups to use the pee pads. Now I'm training the to go outside also...

I'm at work all day so I trained them to use the pee pad for during the day when I'm not home and when weather is bad. I didn't want to expect them to have to hold it all day or for them to have to go outside if it's overly hot or cold.

So now when I get home I pull up the pee pads and I'm training them to go outside. Their actally doing very well and now their not evern using the bathroom until I get home. But I still leave the pee pads down just in case they do need to go.

Also another plus side is Lucy seems to have a small bladder b/c she always wakes up in the middle of the night and needs to use the bathroom, so instead of having to wake up in the middle of the night, I just put a pee pad in the kitchen and she'll use it and come back to bed.

Oh yea, if you use pee pads don't put them on carpet. (unless you have to) b/c sometime they only hit half of the pad..LOL

Good luck and WELCOME TO YT>....
