Is Nutro Max a good brand of dog food? The breeder says it is a good well balanced meal and she has found it very good for her dogs. Angel's vet says it's not the best choice of dog food but it's economical and some breeders have so many dogs so it saves them money. The vet says Hill's is a good brand, which is what she feeds her dogs.

When I gave Angel her kibble w/ rice this morning, she only ate the rice and only ate about 2 pieces of kibble. Her last meal was around 6:30 p.m. the day before. I always put 40 pieces of kibble in her bowl when I add rice. I don't know if I should just mix Nutro Max soft food w/ her kibble all the time to make sure she eats. I add the soft food for dinner. When I put the soft food in, I only put 30 pieces of kibble in her bowl and she always finishes most of her food. Do you think she's a picky eater?
