Bless your heart! And you have it X 2!!! Oscar loves to chew as well and to this day (knock on wood) has not chewed up anything he was not supposed to. I caught him chewing on the power supply cord to my laptop and scared him into his third year of life when I hollered at him...I don't think he will do that again. Oscar absolutely loves Cheweez...it is a beefhide chew made by Purina. I get him the the Chicken Flavor because they don't have red dye in them to get on the carpet. They are classified "savory dog treats" and are sold in the treat section in the pet department at Walmart. This is what the box says "High Quality Standards. Chew-eez is a highly digestible beefhide treat for your dog. Since Chew-eez is made from selected cuts of beefhide, strips can vary in size, shape, color and thickness. Chew-eez strips are packaged by weight; number of pieces vary by box. Feeding your dog Chew-eez on easy to clean floors is recommended. Feed as a treat; make sure your dog always has fresh water." Oscar can chew on one of these for a month before it needs to be replaced. I just watch him on the thin ones and when he wears it out, I give him a new one. He has them all over in his favorite places and we take them when we travel so he can have something to do then...it really helps with boredom. I hope you can get the chewing under control...it is bad enough that they are destroying your stuff, but the worse that could happen is that they harm themselves in the process.
