Don't feel bad, I wouldn't have thought about it either. Are you sure they got burned? Maybe he scratched it on something that was on the ground. I have heard to watch them on the road in the summer but unless I was walking them for a long time on the road I wouldn't ever think about a dog burning his paws. Poor thing. I hope everything turns out ok, I'm sure it will. Keep us updated.
