Hi there
I truly sympathise with you. We brought home our 8 week old pup on Friday and are experiencing the same. When she is with us she is fine, cuddles up and sleeps/plays etc. When we place her in her confined area for eating, sleeping, toileting she just won't settle down on her own unless you sit with her for about 20 mins cuddling her up with her toy. You turn to creep out the room and if she spots you you've had it - she's off again. We have tried: coins in a can, shouting QUIET, pointing finger bzzzz noise (worked once but only for a minute or two), being in the room but ignoring her, water spray. When she does settle she lasts about 2 hours in her area then the slightest noise and she's off again. There's no way you can enter the kitchen when shes dozing it's too risky. Anyone - can you help save our eardrums.
