Couldn't agree more! Who cares what someone charges for their pups? If they're prices too high for the market, they won't sell - simple, isn't it?

As for registry, are you going to show or breed your Yorkie? If not, registry doesn't matter, either. I once thought that AKC registry was some sort of assurance of overall health and quality of the dog, but over the years I've had many friends who had AKC registered dogs with genetic health problems or whose dogs fell far outside the breed standards. It happens. Bailey is our new baby. We love her and she's adorable - so her registration doesn't mean a thing. Since we know she's going to be spayed before her first heat, I'm not even certain we'll bother sending in her registration papers.

As for the "t-cup" description - it is horrid that some people breed their Yorkies to get them smaller and smaller, to the detriment of the pups. Key2Yorkies obviously, from the context of her first post, doesn't fall into that category. She was just using the term to describe a smaller puppy in a normal litter from normal parents. It's a descriptive tool. How is that any worse that talking about a teapot Yorkie?
