Hmmmm.. well.. I am not sure if pups can hold ... for long time... you might need to take her out often..
I use different pee pads for crate and in the playpen.. it might not make much difference but.
I couldn't have Haruka hold for long. Good thing is that in playpen.. she goes to pee pad to do her things..
I think in the beginning, it might be hard without the pee pads though.. I don't know how you would do it..
