I had to read you post 2 times and I think you're asking about training ? I only have girls and one was trained on a pad in less than 2 weeks - the other over 10 MONTHS. It all depends on the yorkie.
You mentioned you lost a puppy - do you want to talk about it ? No one is here to bash anyone ...we've seen too many sad accidents unfortunately....
and that's what they are - ACCIDENTS. They happen and are always hard to hear about... but we are here to help. Unless someone abused their dog - no one will bash you for this. I'm sorry you lost your puppy.
