 No such happy ending here.
You know I think Starsky killed a bird a couple of weeks ago. All of a sudden I heard all this bird racket in my back yard and the dogs were silent. I went outside and there is Starsky just staring down at a dead baby bird. The birds in the trees were screaming at him and swooping around him. Haggis, the beagle, was looking at the bird too. I think Starsky saw it in the grass and went to run and scare it away, like he always does and he was so fast he ran right over it before it could fly and killed it. I think Starsky was shocked too. Anyway, we did not have a happy ending here, the bird died. At least it was a very common robin and not a beautiful blue jay! |
