The puppies were in the backyard and I heard some blue jays screaming, I stepped out on the deck and saw them up in the trees so I ran to grab my camera. When I stepped back outside again I realised (as one tried to dive bomb Frog) that there was a problem in the backyard. They had a little baby and Frog was dragging him around the backyard. I put the camera down and ran down the stairs and got him from Frog. He doesn't have any blood on him (thankfully) but it looks like one of his back legs is mangled. That could have been something that happened before, which could be why he ended up in our backyard, I have him all wrapped up on a baby blanket and I'm holding him as he sleeps. Poor little guy. I don't know if he will make it or not.

Bailey keeps coming in and checking on him. She's such a little mommie. I've been holding him and Bailey sniffs him and licks him on the beak. Frog, on the other hand, would like to have him for a snack.
