 I think my pup is eating her poop
I think my pup is eating her poop. This is a new thing for her and I have heard its is common with puppies. The reason I think so is because when I put her in her bathroom to go on the newspaper and walk away, I come back and I can smell the poop but dont see the poop. So last night, when I got a wiff of the poop, but saw no poop, I tried to smell her breath. And yes, it smelled like her poop. Will someone please tell me this has happened to them so I won't feel like a freak! She has been with me for 5 weeks and just started this about 3 days ago. I read you could put hot sauce on it to discourage her from eating it but that seems mean! Any suggestions? |
