The vet said my cat got it from contaminated water at the shelter. As it would be, it is extremely contagious, even to humans!!!!! So my little Lilly got it also. All my animals (2cats, and 1 dog) had to get treated with medicine and I had to take several stool samples to the vet. In a nutshell the vets office became my second home... That was about 1 year ago, now the whole animal family is doing great
