I was wondering, do dogs recognize each other? While walking Nikko we have run into our neighbor from up the block with her shi tzu Bruno. Nikko being Mr. Social Butterfly always pulls me to greet him. We have run into him about 3 times. Do you think these dogs recognize each other as pals? I mean, are they like us and recognize other dogs as their friends? Or am I just reading human qualities into my dog again?
