I agree with everyone one here about the x-pen. Nikko was confined to the kitchen for a whole year without incident, other than occassional poop and pee accidents. The little monster turns a year old and decides he wants to redecorate mommy's kitchen by chewing 2 huge holes in my walls!!
I thought he had grown past his destructive stage but I have learned that you can never let your guard down with these little guys. The x-pen is great because you can isolate him in an area large enough for him to play but away from your property so that if he gets bored with his toys he won't decide to play with your walls!!
