Hi, I don't know if you have followed up on this with animal control. We was discussing all this yesterday with several of our friends and was told that to get a breeding permit it costs $400.00 in Los Angeles County ( and I do believe Covina is in this county.) They are passing laws that may not allow you to do breeding cause from what we was told yesterday, they have to be Reg. and purebreds. You may want to look into all this soon. Since yours are six months of age, did you get them license yet? We are being told that they have to be spayed/neutered if they are not Reg. for breeding or Reg. for showing in Dog Shows, lot to swallow here, huh? In order to get the license they are saying all dogs that don't fall into the new law have to be spayed or neutered before they can be licensed. The ones that aren't spayed/neutered the license fee is now $60.00 a year, don't know what it is for ones that are done. I am going by the animal control today to see if they have a letter stating what the new law is so we can better understand it, instead of all the hear says. I think a lot of non caring breeders and irresponsable dog owners allowing their's to run about on the streets and then eventually be pound bound and euthenized has brought all this about. I would definately inquire at the animal control on all this so you know what is happening, a lot of this is very confusing to us, thats why I am going by there today. The micro chip is also something that is required now. We got Baby Blessing done at our Vet last week. I know how it is to get attatched to new babies but you might give this some serious thought about breeding them, especially now with all the new laws. Oh, the two that you bought that are six months of age, male and female are they from the same owner? I take it they are not brother and sister????????
