Hi,
I too work full-time. I got Izzy at 15 weeks(she's 8 months now) and she stayed in the laundry room at first. That didn't work - She ate the walls, peed and pooped everywhere. So, I bought a small crate for her. She stays in there all day and sleeps there at night too. I am able to go home for lunch 3 days a week to give her a potty break, but on the days I can't go home, she's able to hold it. For the first 3 days she had accidents, but soon got the hang of things. She also holds it all night. She goes into her crate between 10:30 and 11:00pm and wakes me up at 6:30 in the morning to go out. After she goes out, I put a gate up at our bedroom door and she can run around in our bedroom and bathroom (I still don't trust her in the whole house.) She eats and I put her back in her crate when I leave for work. I don't leave any food or water in her crate...Just her pillow and a few toys. Then, as soon as I get home, I take her out to potty, and then back inside to eat. I've finally gotten her schedule down pat. It took a while and I got very frustrated, but I'm so proud of her now. You'll figure out a routine that'll work for you. Best of luck! ~Ashley and Izzy
