I don't know if Sissy drinks out of her water bowl in her room or not, since when she is in there, we are not. She does drink out of our other dog's water bowl which is in an elevated stand (quite high for her actually). She will also follow me into the bathroom which is the cue that she wants a drink, so I take a bathroom dixie cup, fill it to the top and she'll drink what she wants.
