We started noticing about a week ago that Sophie is afraid of her water bowl. She would spin around by her bowl like she didn't have water even though she did. So we would take her bowl rinse it and give her fresh water from the fridge. She would drink it but only if the bowl is really full and she would stretch way out to reach it. I don't know what has happened. She has been drinking and eating out of stainless steel bowls for about a year now. Our vet recommended them. I am wondering if she is seeing her reflection and that is what is making her afraid. I am worried that she is not drinking all that she needs because she is afraid. I was wondering if it would be ok to let her drink her water from a ceramic bowl instead? I would appreciate any help you could give me.
Oh yeah she is not afraid to eat out of stainless steel.
