You have asked the right person!! I have all microfiber furniture in my house and had the same issue with Bailey marking. First, wipe the furniture down with soap and water, lightly scrub the area. Make sure there is no soap residue on the furniture. Next, mix 1 cup of vinegar with 1/2 gallon of water. Soak the area to be cleaned and scrub. Then use a dry clean towel to absorb any remaining water. The smell should be gone after this process and he shouldn't want to go back to that area to re-mark. If the smell remains I always resort back to Febreeze.
