I have hardwood floors and love it... We have three cats, and between the floors and the leather furniture we don't have as much hair floating around as we used to. A swiffer duster picks it all up. SO much better than when all the hair would imbed itself into the carpeting and such. Seemed like no amount of vacuuming ever got it out....

Just a warning though... Hardwood can still absorb urine and odors. We had to completely tear out the living room and replace several corners of other rooms because the previous tenant had cats that wouldn't use the litter box... It rotted the wood and floorboards under it. They were completely black and moldy and smelled like you wouldn't believe. We should've taken pictures... It did take years for it to get that way though, but I'm pretty paranoid it'll happen again so I clean up any accidents I find instantly!
