My friend has a Yorkie who is 14 weeks old right now. She's been wanting a Yorkie for a whole year and her hubby just got her a darling little girl as an anniversary gift 2 weeks ago! It's so exciting. But anyway, her little diva always seems to look scruffy, no matter how much my friend brushes her hair. Her hair is thick and coarse. But her parents both have silky, very soft coats (I know because I went with her hubby to pick the baby out). So that's why I was wondering if she'd grow out of it. Maybe a trip to the groomers would help. They could get rid of some of that baby fluff and allow the fresh, new hair to grow in.
