The Outward hound seat I got for Topher is very inexpensive. I paid 40.00for it up here in Canada but I'm sure I've seen them advertised in the U.S. for under twenty. To save your little one's life...even in a mild fender bender...well, it's well worth the money.

I was in a 'mild' accident last fall when an elderly gentleman pulled out in front of me. I had to slam on my brakes to try to avoid hitting him. I did end up smashing into the side of his vehicle anyway, but everything that I had on my seat in the back flew off and landed in the front of my van. It could very easily have been my dog had he been in the van with me and untethered. The accident happened so quickly and couldn't be avoided. I had just run a quick errand and was only going out of the house for 15 minutes or so. It happens so quickly.
