Just give it time, it will be okay. The medication has something to do with it too. Valium will make him lethargic, not active. He also can pick up on your feelings, and can tell that you are scared and shook up from the incident. And he can also sense that you are still upset, even though you are upset about his behavior. Try to get back into a normal routine with him, and hide your anxiety the best you can. Once he knows there is nothing to worry about, he will come around, don't worry. Good luck, and I am so sorry this happened to you.
