Ok he was acting like this before he got put on the valium? The lack of playing and eating? Valium is a mood equalizer. That alone could affect his activity and depress his eating.

On the other issues...stranger anxiety, scared outside. I would just continue to take him outside for short trips. Re-assure him repeatedly. Ramsey is a scarey cat of anything NEW...I constantly have to introduce NEW situations to her to eleviate her fears.

Ramsey is not a cuddler...she will not let me hold her for long or it's when she wants in my lap. Perhaps as Agapi has gotten a little older and more independent he doesn't want to be held either.

And yorkies tend to pick one person in the household as their "fav". Agapi may have chosen hubby.

PS Personally I think he'll get "over it" and be fine with time. Hope he's back to his old self soon.
