you guys. my yorkie has not been the same since i got mugged.... i am starting to worry.

he wont eat much
he is always sad
he wont play much
he is scared to be outside (he doesnt even want to pee and poo outside he looks terrified of leaving the house)
he doesnt want strangers to come near
he seems to have no energy
he doesnt like me as much (i know this sounds crazy but:

- he avoids me
- when i pick him up he moves to a different spot
- he now sleeps by my feet instead of next to my pillow
- he seems happy when my husband comes home (me too but not as much)
- he struggles to get off my arms

my heart is breaking, is it possible the shock was so great that he is unable to move on?

took him to a behavior person and he said he may be regresing to a baby stage... the vet put him on valerium (dont know how to spell it) pills for 10 days and a syrum twice a day for a few weeks, i am so sad he is medicated

when he is outside he is always shaking, have been trying to give him love but i dont knowwhat to do, i am so sad because i feel i have lost my happy dog and i only have him for 3 weeks now, things are not turning out like i envisioned them.

will agapi ever recover??? help me please i am so sad
