Front Page is quite easy. I'm not expert, but have made a few pages just playing around and experimenting. Just a few visual suggestions- Lots of pictures(!!!) and no long/wide columns of text on the home page. If a home page looks boring, I usually don't look any further at the site. Oh, and if you use a table, make sure that you make the table lines invisible- it looks so much better and more professional.
