I just got Angel last weekend. She's 5 months old and has been waking up around 7 a.m. every morning. She whines and then barks until I get up. When I go to her room, which is next to mine, I see she has pooed. Is she barking because she wants it cleaned up or is it because she's not tired anymore and wants attention? When I lean over to pick her up from her pen, she's really hyper. When she's in my arms, she's thrashing her body around cuz she's really excited. I have to hold on tight so she won't fall. After a while, she calms down. After I clean up the mess, I put her back in her pen and she'll continue whining and barking. I have to wash up and change so I have no choice. Should I just ignore her or should I say, "No, shhh, quiet..."? I have tried ignoring her and she continues on. She's good at bedtime and I've been able to sleep, but she's really bad in the morning with the noise and at other times during the day when she's in her pen. Any help/advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
