Hi there.

What I do: Wait until the dog/cat is 7 months- 1 year of age. Make sure the animals is well rested, well hydrated, and supllemented for at least a few weeks with missing link, and other goodies before any vac. Then when the Vaccination is done, I take the animal home, and let them rest for a day in a comfortable, dark, peaceful place.

Our St. just turned 7 months. I think based on what I see physically he is not yet ready, so I will wait until next month to take him in for his rabies.

Feliz just turned 3 months, and is now 2 lbs. I will wait 5-8 months more before I take her. I understand yorkies immune systems do not really mature until 8 months of age.
