Topher rode in the kennel for quite some time until I got concerned that he would bounce around inside the thing if ever we were in an accident. Plus it wasn't easy to get him in and out of it if we stopped for a piddle.
I've been in enough fender benders in my life to know that it doesn't take much of an impact for a little dog to go flying in a vehicle. It's worth it to spend the few dollars to keep him safe.  |
Does he ever try to climb out? I have the stow-away and mine end up dangling by their harness.
I have since been using the seat belt attachment with the harness.
