Hi all!!...all is safe in Florida...we survived Alberto! The winds and rain were pretty heavy last night, house was swaying
but by 7 this morning the worst seemed to be over. i think it hit east of here. we saw one house with damage here on the island. We were eating at a beachfront restaurant at 5 today and the weather channel was packing up and heading out!!
I'm trying to read the 10+ pages on this thread from just today...but stupid AOL doesn't think I need to and it keeps kicking me off!! I see everyone was very chatty here today
Thanks for all the good wishes during the storm!! I did want a good storm while I was down here, but I hope Mother Nature got the memo that I only wanted it for 1 day and then the rest sunny!!
