Ultrasounds don't really work on dogs, it would just be a waste of money. X- rays are only usefull after the 45th day (after the 50th day is even better), because the bones of the puppy need to be formed so we can actually see something with the X-rays. Just 1 week before due date, I don't think X-rays will harm the puppies, but if it was done at an earlier stage, yes I think there would be a risk of harming the puppies. |
