I've heard many things about collars on yorkies. I was told not to use the collar to walk them. I have one on my yorkie, but just for ID purposes. When I walk her I use a harness. However, I have noticed that she "hacks", she makes coughing noises like she's trying to get something out of her throat. Could it be from the harness? I never tug on it, but sometimes she gets so excited about walks that she runs and then finds the end of the lease to be shorter then she would like. Also, I've noticed that she "hacks even when she isn't wearing the harness, for no reason. But it's more apparent when I'm walking her. Any advice is appreciated!
