Sometimes I think guys just dont get that girls dream about this day from the time that they are little girls... running around with pillow cases on their heads and dreaming of the perfect dress. He should be doing everything he can to make that dream a reality. Explain to him how important this is to you - that you dont want to be rushing around at the last minute tying up loose ends.
As for not having the addresses of his friends, that's HIS problem, not yours. He should be responsible for that - it's up to HIM if he wants them to be there to share the day with you. Give him a deadline, after that, they can't come (that sounds harsh...but maybe it will make him move). I've always gotten invitations a couple MONTHS in advance, so tell him to get his ass in gear, cause september will be here before he knows it!
Suggest a really horrendous song for your 'song' - something absolutely puke-worthy and maybe then he'll have some suggestions of his own...
