I would like to know how they test the dog's genetics. DNA research info is only able to determine the parentage of a particular dog at this point. There is no widely available data that will isolate certain genes for specific traits or determine the possibility of problematic outcomes. If I am wrong, I would dearly like to know, since to my knowledge DNA is just a hopeful tool on the horizon for breeders of the future.
