I'm pretty sure it's just puppy behavior. It's not a male thing - Bailey's our little girl, and she does it, too - but not as often as she did a few weeks ago. She's 13 weeks old and doesn't do it very often now. Keep doing the same thing, I guess. It's what we did, and she's either learning or growing out of that behavior.
