Any advice truly appreciated. They have no papers but are purebred.
California is really buckeling down on this, do you have to have yours micro chipped and how much is the license down there if it is unspayed? I know Los Angeles unincoporated area is really being hit hard with new animal control laws. I understand once one applies to be a breeder the county comes out and does inspection and certain requirements have to be met. This I am in favor of. I guess living in the city they have that rule of no more than three. How did the animal control contact you, do they come door to door? Do you know what the requirements are for getting a breeding permit?
I don't fully understand the new spay/neuter law in the unincorporated Los Angeles County area and I think it is very confusing to many many people, I personally feel there is a lot of discrimination in the new laws, I also hear this from many other people. It is my understanding even if a dog is a purebred and not registered they are required to be spayed or neutered, in saying that I am pertaining to the Unincorporated Los Angeles County. I do not know about any requirements or laws in other county are cities. I am going to do a search on the internet and see if I can understand it all better I find it all very confusing and also that some of the vets and some animal control personel are not really understanding it completely either.
