my brother in law's dog just passed. he lives in maui, hi with my sister and her daughters. his dog , zen, was living in michigan with his sister. he was very close to zen, but she couldn't make the long journey to maui a year ago when they moved. he recently went to visit zen in michigan. i know he is very upset. what is the appropriate thing to do??? i have no experience with this kind of situation. do i send a card or flowers? what would you do???
