Hi everyone, some people may not know but in March my beloved Buddy passed away from old age. She passed on under my computer table in her sleep, peacefully. She had been bleeding a little out of her mouth but we believe that had to do with her teeth (they weren't looking good, and we were actually planning on getting a dental for her.) The vet said the bleeding didn't have anything to do with her death, and her blood tests turned out fine. One thing was her lungs probably started giving up. She was 9-13 yrs old. [br]Here's the story about Buddy: [br]
Almost exactly a year from the day of her death, me and my mom were driving home from my school and I saw a little dog passing the street. "Mom! Mom!! Look, there's a little puppy! Stop stop we gotta help him! As a truck almost ran over her, I was really scared and I prayed that she wouldn't get hit. She made it across the road and me and my mom followed her. Finally, my mom stopped the car, jumped out, and saved her life. I learned that this was no puppy, and she indeed was not a boy either. We took her to the vet for a checkup, to see if she had a microchip, put up signs, etc, but we never got any feedback. Later on my dad decided her name was Buddy. It was so unfair to only have her for only a year, but bless her she was the best I could ask for. Here's a picture of her, I'll be making a board with more pics of her soon (I'll post the link here ASAP! ) |
Thank you honey for doing in darker type. What a lovely tribute here for Buddy, I shall look forward to your pictures soon. I am so so sorry about Buddy. I know the heart ache you are feeling, we too live in California and if I hear of one, I sure will pm and let you know. I am glad you are wanting to get another yorkie, they are so comforting, do you have a preference m/f and I can tell from the love in your heart that age of one really don't matter, that was so wonderful you took Buddy home and surrounded her with TLC. Have you ever given it a thought that maybe God placed her that particular day at the moment you would see her, as you were going home from school

you know I kinda think he did. I am so happy that Buddy was with you and your family her last year. Bless you and your family for loving her so much.
