 Ticks
I live in Kansas, out in the country, so ticks are pretty much an every day thing. Especially since I have four big dogs, three of which are totally outside dogs. Anyway, it doesn't hurt to remove the ticks and you can also twist them as you pull them out and they let go. Nothing is left in the dog. It's a good idea to put a preventative on them, it doesn't keep them from getting ticks but it will kill them. You guys do know that certain ticks can cause a lot of problems in dogs like lyme disease and paralysis. Not trying to scare anyone but it's good to be informed. |
