i dont think wearing a collar is dangerous. and i dont think the pups mind. as long as you check your house out and make sure there's nothing for them to get hung on then i wouldnt worry too much about it.
and i think having an invisible fence is a responsible idea for some situations. i wouldnt leave them out there unsupervised for any long period of time because of thieves, other dogs, etc. but i've considered it for baxter because sometimes when i take him out to pee he sees someone walking or a bird or something and darts off into the neighbors yard. i think a couple mild shocks is NOTHING compared to having him hit by a car.
and i think it'd be ok to leave the collar on him during the day, but not at night. cuz the box on it is kinda bulky and yorkies are small. |
