I always did my own puppy cuts with just a scissors. I'd cut it all finger depth. Like take the hair between you fingers aand snip close to fingers. Like a beautician does. I preferred that to the shorter clipper cuts.

I also made my own grooming arm that attaches to my counter top. I'll see if I can find the thread with the picture.
