Gracie, like Fasteddie says, Yorkies do need those baby teeth removed! Their teeth have to be well cared for as they tend to have problems with them. They don't generally shed the baby teeth and can grow two sets of little teeth [which Toto did ... boy, did she look odd! ]. Our vet [who specializes in these babies] didn't want to have to put her to sleep twice so she just removed them while she was asleep for spaying! Putting them under anesthesia is very dangerous for them so please select your vet carefully!
