Yes, we HAD a red toy poodle (RIP) for 15 years. He was the most laid back dog I've ever seen. He was definitely not your typical yippy poodle. He had heart problems in his old age that was taken care of with medication but overall a very healthy little boy. I would say the health issues are pretty much the same with poodles (escpecially toys) than with Yorkies.... trachea issues (he never walked on a leash w/collar - only harnesses) and the knee issues (he had a very mild case which only acted up once when he got a little overweight - a healthy diet and a little weight loss took care of that).
