My dad was in the US Army and we moved back and forth with our poodles. I thin the Military has a different set of rules for bringing in pets. I remember one time we had to send our dog a few weeks before we left and we picked him up at the base kennel in Japan. You may want to have your husband check with the base veterinarian where you are stationed now.
