I believe it can affect them negatively later on if they aren't pulled. It can grow into her gums and cause her pain. It can also affect the way teeth naturally sit in her mouth. You could always get another opinion from another vet as well.

My Yoda got a few teeth pulled (brave little fella) at around 1 year old. They did put him under anesthesia. Just make sure the vet has experience with little Yorkies before you let them perform the procedure. Hope that helps...
