I hold my left mouse key down and slide it over what I want highlighted and then let up. I point the arrow at the highlighted line or whatever is highlighted and right click on it. A box drops down and you can copy, paste, delete or whatever you want to do.

in less stress on the change over to Explorer I am so glad I asked you all here, I made yahoo email my home page, but now I think it should have been YT, as this is the first place I go when turning on my computer sooooo in saying that, I will go read our emails. Oh, I just learned another way, hi-light whatever I didn't want to type, hit the backspace once, whammy it is deleted. Gosh maybe a computer class would be great after all, that could be a suggestion to YT for a forum. Do you think that is a good suggestion?
