MAX IS HOME!!! He's going to be OK!!! I'm so relieved. THANK YOU so much for your thoughts & prayers & kind words...you've helped ease my mind & bring Max home.
The vet sent us home with carafate, which he's taken just fine for us this morning. He ate about 1/2 his normal dinner last night, and had a normal BM this morning. He's drinking lots of water, too.
He was so excited to see us! He tried to squirm out of the vet's arms when he heard my voice! hehehe...he still loves me!
He lost over a pound. At his last checkup, he was 6lbs 8oz, and now he's down to 5lbs 4oz. He's all droopy skin & bones sticking out everywhere!
He wanted to play ball this morning, and then he sat on my lap for about an hour & napped afterward. He just licked my arm until he fell asleep.
I'm so glad to have him home!!
